Why Train Your Cat?
Training is simply altering the behaviours that a cat exibits when exposed to any element in its enviroment. Any and every interaction can teach your cat something. But the question is are you teaching your cat acceptable behaviours? With enough patience and understanding, any cat can learn new behaviours.
This can include an new pet or person in the home, resolving issues such as inappropiate scratching or eliminating (litterbox issues) as well as night time activity. Cats can even learn how to be more comfortable in their home and other things that make an enviroment safer for them such as walking on a leash or sitting on cue.
My Training Methods
I understand that cats are sensitive creatures and my training methods reflect this. I primarily use Positive Reinforcement (rewarding positive behaviour) with some Negative Punishment (removing the reward with inappropriate behaviour). I apply cruelty and fear free training methods that will strengthen your bond with your beloved feline companion
